In the mid 80's I bought a Minolta Maxxum 7000, my first SLR camera. I enjoyed that camera for many years until life took over. During the 90’s I graduated college, and began a demanding career as a Chef. Meanwhile my camera was packed away in the closet collecting dust.

The new millennium was a year of big changes for me, and the digital revolution had begun. As the first consumer digital cameras were being sold, I rediscovered photography with a Sony Mavica MVC-FD75. The image quality was poor, but I enjoyed the convenience of digital imagery. I started using my aging film camera again, but I was frustrated with its limitations. When Canon released the Canon 10D, I finally made the decision to go all digital. Digital photography has created new sources of creativity allowing me to challenge and hone my skills.

Through the years I have found I enjoy photographing sports, travel, and architectural images. I try not to limit myself to just those subjects, and often step out of my comfort zone.
